Brand new for 2015, the RS200 is part of Insignia's limited edition range of steam shower cabins.
The RS range has the latest features, which have since been introduced into other shower models which have been upgraded.
Firstly, we have the new, sleek Insignia 'M' touch control panel. This control panel has built in Bluetooth, FM radio, as well as allowing control of the steam function, lights, fan, radio search and volume control. The control panel has also been made in polar white to match the interior back wall of the shower cabin. The RS range has also had a redesign in regards to the steam output. Instead of having a small steam pod in the cabin, you have a quad-jet steam system which is essentially four small steam outlets in the corner of the back panel. With greater area of steam release, it will produce more steam even quicker, which is a good thing as the cabin is one of the largest in our range.
The RS200 is much larger than our standard rectangular showers or shower quadrants, measuring a whopping 1300mm x 100mm. It also has 8mm thick glass in the side wall, front glass panel and door, making them even more durable. The tray has also been reinforced to compensate for the extra weight of the cabin.
There are two individual sets of 6 hydro-massage jets, totalling 12 in all. The monsoon head has a larger coverage of rubber nozzles, which disperses greater amounts of water, allowing for a better shower experience than ever before. The sleek microphone style hand shower has also had an upgrade. Inside the head of the hand shower there are mineral beads which disperse the calcium build up and break down limescale which basically acts as a water softener.
And finally, you have the Chromotherapy lighting. This feature has since been integrated into every shower upgrade since the release of the RS range due to its overwhelming popularity. The Chromotherapy lighting features 7 different colours and 8 settings. The final setting is a gentle scroll through all the colour options, which initially may not sound too appealing, but in reality it creates a beautiful ambiance within the shower and a relaxing atmosphere.
