When it comes to steam showers, very few compare to the INS0509. Luxury in terms of the actual cabin itself and also the size as the more modest bathroom could not fit a shower of this size without making compromises on other items like toilets and sinks. Whilst the size may be prohibitive for some it is not for many and this model, in particular, is especially popular, so much so that the legendary Frank Bruno is the proud owner of this steam shower.
Proudly sitting in our Milton Keynes showroom is the display INS0509 which Frank has actually signed for us. Frank was in a more comfortable position than most of us as he could probably fit multiple INS0509's in his bathroom so he literally had the pick of the entire bunch. Upon perusing the entire range it was decided that the INS0509 was the shower for him and there are plenty of reasons why.
So firstly, we have the new Chromotherapy lighting system. Yes, that's right! 7 colour options within the LED's located in the roof enclosure to illuminate the cabin. Perfectly combining with the tinted mirror back panels, it creates a wonderful luminosity to give that beautiful atmospheric ambiance to relax you as you shower or steam.
Adding to this, but staying in the roof enclosure we now have the twin speaker system. The fan was largely redundant as a feature as many didn't even bother to use it so it literally took up space as a feature that could be better used for something else. The roof feels complete with the twin speaker system giving you a surround sound style feel whilst using the cabin. Time to focus on what actually washes you, encased within the roof enclosure you have the stainless-steel monsoon shower head as the centerpiece with a large quantity of rubber stipples which give great coverage of water. Moving down the shower, you have a sleek microphone style hand shower should this be your preferred showering option which is on an easy to use adjustable riser rail kit for designated height preferences.
The in-built entertainment system for the cabin which we have already touched on earlier is the revolutionary Insignia 2.0 Bluetooth Control Panel. No surprises here as it does exactly what it says on the tin. Connect your device via Bluetooth and listen to whatever you want whilst enjoying a luxury shower or relaxing steam. Whether it be first thing in the morning, last thing at night or somewhere in between, simply connect your device in seconds and listen to a playlist, podcast or audiobook whilst you use the cabin. Alternatively, it can be used as a multimedia system and be some light entertainment when undertaking the dreaded chore we all hate… Yes you guessed it, cleaning the bathroom. If you aren’t in the mood for your own playlist and want to listen to the radio then fear not, as the control panel has an FM radio feature as standard. Tune the radio and enjoy your favourite DJ whenever you wash.
The control panel also is where you operate the Chromotherapy lighting, volume for the audio and also the steam function of the cabin. Set the time and temperature you wish to steam for and sit back and relax, letting your daily stresses drift away.
Sit back and relax? On what I hear you ask. This cabin comes with a synthetic wood stool for convenience and comfort as well as a matching floor to really make the aesthetics of the cabin pop.
